Life Interrupted

When nighttime comes, do you breathe a deep sigh of relief — thankful for a few hours of escape — only to wake up and face the same heart-wrenching cycle again? You move through the day, doing what needs to be done, yet deep inside there’s a piercing ache, a yearning for something more.

Living a life of deep agony or quiet desperation was never God’s intention for His children. He came to give us an abundant life that’s lived for His glory. His presence brings comfort, strength, and hope beyond what we can see or comprehend. He invites us to find rest in His embrace, discover glimpses of beauty even in brokenness, and move forward with a renewed heart and quiet courage that brings Him glory.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” — John 10:10

Tragedy and disaster bring enormous disruption, panic, and heartbreak. In an instant, your sense of normalcy is shattered. Whether it’s a flood, a fire, a hurricane, the loss of a relationship, or a loved one—the aftermath can leave you feeling disoriented and grasping at straws.

But even in the midst of chaos, you are not powerless. Recovery from loss begins the moment you choose to reclaim your life and take steps to make it happen. Every action begins with a thought — and every thought can lead to a decision that moves you forward. Healing is not about forgetting what happened but about trusting that God can bring beauty out of ashes. He invites you to rise again and embrace the life He has promised.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Healing From Loss Resources

My books were born out of my own personal journey through loss and healing, resulting from the deaths of multiple family members, including three siblings in one year. This experience compelled me to face sorrow, navigate setbacks, regroup, and, through faith and prayer, receive healing. It is my sincere desire that by sharing my story, I can offer hope, encouragement, and reassurance to those taking their first tentative steps forward.

“Praise be to the…Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)
