Learn to Speak/Read/Write English
Could you or someone you know benefit from improving English language skills? Have you or someone you know been passed up for a promotion or not hired because your English could be improved? This free “Learn to Speak/Read/Write English” language program is sponsored by Stater Bros. Charities and focuses on basic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. An emphasis is placed on learning proper grammar and vocabulary for life-skill roles in the community, family, school and at work. This class is student-centered, interactive and includes reading and writing activities, worksheets, tests and other resources to assure learner success.

Level: Beginning to Advanced Beginner Level
Supply Fee: $50 textbook (one-time fee) to be paid directly to the instructor
on or before (preferred) 1st day of class.
Notes: Class size limited so register now. Each student must purchase their own textbook.
Space is limited. If the student misses more than 1 class per month or if they do not purchase classroom materials (each student must purchase own textbook) on or before the first day of class they will be dropped and their space will be offered to someone else on the waitlist. There will be no refunds for student textbook if the student is dropped by the instructor (or voluntarily drops class). About the Instructor:
Paulina Jaramillo has a Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 1998, she passed the California Basic Educational Skill Test. Paulina has 8 years of experience teaching ESL to adults and has worked at El Sol Neighborhood Educational Center and at Camp Fire, USA. She has written 4 books and currently conducts workshops throughout the Inland Empire and is a guest speaker at many venues including the Latino Book and Family Festival. Paulina is fluent in both Spanish and English and in 2010 passed the SABE Language test administered by the California Department of Education.
